When I arrived in Paris, I was endlessly enchanted by its art, architecture, and ambience. Walking its streets, I began documenting the places that inspired me. These moments inspired an idea that blossomed into an illustrated children’s book.

With ink and watercolours, I brought Clémence, a curious little honeybee, to life. Her journey through the City of Lights mirrors the wonder I felt in a place that has captivated so many creative souls before me. Each illustration was painted to capture the beauty and the joy it evokes in those who take the time to truly see and experience it.

This labour of love found its home at the beloved @shakespeareandcoparis , where it has made its way into readers’ homes all over the world. With over 650 copies sold (merci beaucoup!!!), Clémence has traveled far, and her story has reached kindred spirits that allows her adventure to continue.
