Pattern design for Gesa Hansen
The request to create repeat patterns for surface application led to an exploration into the boundless beauty of natural landscapes, translating the essence of horizon lines into patterns. The illustrations, inspired by the continuous and vast expanses of fields of view, create an illusion of an endless surface, embodying both the vastness and the subtle intricacies of space and sight lines.
The result is a series of unique patterns that create a sense of vast, uninterrupted continuity, mirroring the endless horizons that inspired them.
